Hello folks,
I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know I’m not going anywhere!
Unfortunately, as some of you might have noticed, WordPress has suspended my plugins from WordPress.org due to the inclusion of paid content. This is a bit puzzling, given that other plugins offer options like “enable more features,” and my plugin has been like this for the last 10 years! To be fair, WordPress have been quite reasonable with me, but they’ve set a tight deadline for me to split and rewrite the plugins—a timeline that isn’t really practical.
As a result, I’m in the process of creating separate websites for each of my plugins where future updates will be available.
How to update my plugins on your site
Going forward, you may need to manually update the plugin by downloading the latest zip file from me and uploading it to your site. However, my goal is to implement an automatic update feature that will connect to my servers instead of WordPress. Once that’s in place, you’ll be able to update directly from your WordPress admin dashboard as usual.
